Old World Greatness!
This city was founded by in 1703, by the ruler of the country. It served as the country’s capital until 1918, when the capital was established in a different city. It is the second largest city and is still known as the cultural capital. This particular cathedral was built on the site where a famous ruler was assassinated and was dedicated in his memory. The historic centre of the city and related monuments has been named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
