Walk Off The Earth have built a massive following of dedicated fans from around the world through their unique and heartwarming approach to songwriting and filming.

Also appearing is world-renowned environmentalist Ricky Kej live in concert featuring the Surrey Orchestra. Other festival attractions include over 45 cultural pavilions, five music and dance stages, one cooking stage, over 150 performers, an Indigenous village and a kid’s zone.

Walk Off The Earth is an unconventional, multi-talented five-piece musical phenomenon that has taken the world by storm. Based in Burlington, Ontario, their brilliant five-people-playing-one-guitar interpretation of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” exploded on YouTube garnering well over 35 million views in less than two weeks. Their YouTube channel has over 2.8 million subscribers, and their Facebook page has over three million likes. The Juno Award-winning band most recently released their single, “NOMAD,” a buoyant and provocative love song that once again delivers on the wide-ranging style the band’s audiences have grown accustomed to.
“Coast Capital Savings’ community sponsorships support youth,” explains Wendy Lachance, Coast Capital’s Director of Community Leadership. “We are big fans of free events like Fusion Festival, which brings the community together, engages young people and connects them with their communities and each other. It is even better when these events also offer great food, entertainment and fun. Fusion Festival is a perfect example of an event that brings all of those elements together and offers Surrey a chance to celebrate the multiculturalism of this community.”
