UNICEF to help set-up schools for girls in Baluchistan, Pakistan

Quetta: United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (Unicef) is helping Baluchistan government with the technical and financial support to establish 2,000 girls’ schools across the province.

According to government of Baluchistan, 2.3 million children are still out of schools in the province. Girls’ schools under the proposed program would be established within 2 kilometers of each other to make sure maximum enrollment of girls. These schools would be set up within three years
