Beijing, Jan 5 (IANS) At least three people were confirmed dead after a landslide covered an expressway in China’s Guizhou province, rescuers said Monday.

Three bodies were pulled out from a car buried by the landslide as the search team continues to pick their way through the 80,000 cubic metres of debris, Xinhua reported.

The landslide occurred at 3.40 p.m. Sunday, blocking the expressway that links Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, to Zunyi in Guizhou province.
