the hunger gameGame on. Lots of mayhem grips the silver screen in The final Hunger Games movie. I guess. superior action highlights The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 out out by Lionsgate Films EOne Entertainment. Fans of the franchise will not be disappointed as the teens will undoubtedly flock to Cineplex Odeon arenas across B.C, left in its wake.
Issues abound in this movie that attempts ( and succeeds) in tying up loose ends. Again the revels are gunning for the president and the ruling elite. Number one Katniss Everdeen agaIn Is a marked woman courtesy of President Snow. Both Jennifer Lawrence and Canadian Donald Sutherland are in fine form as the beleaguered antagonists who are joined in the battle by scores of followers.
Part love story but much more heart-pounding battles with various close calls Mockingjay – Part 2 has the right tone of desperation to connect with its fan base. Challenges come and go but here clever writing and some nifty special effects win the day, a very large cast of fine actors hit their mark in this dark tinged tale of survival of the fittest. Though too long like Spectre at over 2 1/2 hours and not as eventful as the original Katniss’s final battle is worth seeing. Oh, and I wouldn’t rule out somehow a continuation of the series.
