teenage robbed of his Ipad while walking to work

Chilliwack: On Friday, April 4th work.At approximately 2:55 p.m. the victim was walking eastbound, in the 45500 block of South Sumas Road. While passing Vedder Middle School the victim was approached by five Caucasian males. One of the males, described as blond and wearing a white t-shirt, khaki jeans, white Nike high top shoes and silver chain, demanded to have the Ipad. The male threatened the victim with being beaten up if he did not surrender it. The victim did surrender the Ipad but sustained minor injuries when he was pushed and punched by the group. The assault caused the victim to fall and hit his head. The other four males were described as all having dark hair and wearing jeans. One of the males wore a Slayer monogrammed hoody sweat shirt. The Chilliwack RCMP is requesting the assistance of the general public in this matter. “South Sumas Road is a busy place at this time of day” advises Cpl. Len vanNieuwenhuizen. “This matter may have been witnessed by passing motorists and pedestrians.
