Shots fired overnight were likely targeted in Coquitlam

Although it’s early in the investigation, Coquitlam RCMP investigators believe that an overnight drive-by shooting in the 1200 block of Thomas Avenue, Coquitlam was targeted.

Police were on scene within minutes after getting several 911 calls at about 1:15 a.m. today. Multiple shots were fired into a house but no one was hurt.

No one has been arrested, but police are in the process of gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses and hope to make continued progress.
