Langley: June is celebrated as Seniors’ Month in Canada. This year’s theme is ‘Aging Without Boundaries: 30 Years of Celebrating Seniors’. The theme recognizes the contributions seniors have made to their community and the contributions they are still making every day in Canada and across the world. The Muriel Arnason Library and Langley Senior Resources Society are celebrating Seniors Appreciation Day on June 3rd.
Muriel Arnason Library and Langley Senior Resources Society warmly invite all seniors to celebrate Seniors’ Week. Please come and enjoy refreshments, a display of some of our newest large print titles, and enter a book draw. We are pleased to have Janice Mctaggart, Director Of Outreach Services, Langley Senior Resources Society, who will speak about the ‘services and resources available for seniors in this area’. Erik Jeffrey and Sebastian Garcia will entertain the attendees.
If you are not senior but want to have a chat with the people who have long experience of life and have so much too share, it will be the best opportunity for you to come and join us to learn something new. This is a drop-in program, free and open to the public. The Muriel Arnason Library is located at 20338 – 65 Avenue, and the phone number is 604-532-3598. Langley based musicians
