Richmond, BC:  Magical worlds, fairy tale characters and circus acrobats will all come to life at the 6th Annual Children’s Arts Festival on BC Family Day, February 10, at the Richmond Cultural Centre. Families are invited to unleash their children’s artistic voices through fun and interactive artistic activities led by local professional artists. In previous years, demands have increased for more classes that cater to children 3 to 4 years and 5 to 6 years. In response, the Children’s Arts Festival offers more fun activities such as dancing, musical theatre, bringing animals to life through art and learning amazing circus skills. Another exciting reason to attend the Children’s Arts Festival is to Meet the Wiz: Lee Edward Födi, an award-winning local author and illustrator. CTV’s highly energetic weather man, Marke Driesschen, will be emceeing the show at 1:30 p.m.

The 6th Annual Children’s Arts Festival is presented by the City of Richmond and BC Children’s Art and Literacy Centre, along with the support of Lansdowne Centre, Port Metro Vancouver, CTV, Richmond News, Par-T-Perfect and the Richmond Public Library.

Family Day will be happening next week so plan your activities and register today at
