Toronto: Liberals with the help of NDP have survived confidence votes. The Progressive Conservatives have long been pushing for an election and wanted the New Democrats to help them bring down the government. But NDP said it would have been difficult for Elections Ontario to conduct the elections. NDP Leader Andrea Horwath said that NDP is being responsible and doesn’t want to initiate any action that will put the people to Ontario into chaos.
