In North Vancouver two males robbed a gas station of cash and cigarettes with police now asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

On Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at approximately 8:00 pm two unknown culprits entered the North Vancouver gas station located in the 1700 block of Capilano Road and threatened the clerk with harm if both money and cigarettes were not handed over. The masked suspects claimed they had a gun and a knife, neither of which were produced. The culprits were last seen running from the area on foot towards Marine Drive with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

The store’s surveillance cameras have captured the attached images of the two suspects.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects, said Cpl. Richard De Jong of the North Vancouver RCMP. Considering the time of evening, it is hopeful that someone may have observed something that will be of help in our investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311 or Crime Stoppers at
