Surrey: MP Randeep Sarai encourages the residents of Surrey and his friends and family to get in the holiday spirit by holding his first ‘Holiday Open House’ on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. It was a lively and festive day at Randeep Sarai’s constituency office, as the open house was lavished with cheerful spirits, sounds of laughter as well as plenty of egg nogg and goodies for guests to enjoy.
MP Sarai shared, “today is more than just a celebration, it is an occasion of reflection and appreciation for the past year’s efforts and hard work. This time last year, my team and I were serving constituents with limited resources out of a small room that was a temporary office. A year later, here we are in a fully functioning and productive office, by which I am delighted to have constituents present and still supportive of the work we do for them.”
In addition to the celebrations, the holiday season serves as the best time to give. With this in mind, MP Sarai’s office collected five large boxes worth of non-perishable food items to donate to local food banks. Sarai adds “I can’t think of a better way to cherish the holiday season than to give back to those who need it most while also concluding this successful year with my constituents, friends, and family right here in Surrey-Centre.”
