Surrey: For a second year, MP Randeep Sarai, held his ‘Holiday Open House’ at his Constituency Office on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Constituents and friends of Surrey Centre filled the office with their cheerful spirits and kind appreciation.
In many of the conversations that MP Sarai shared with guests there was talk about the developments that the federal government has made, in which the Canada Summer Jobs Program was frequently referenced. MP Sarai added, that “the Canada Summer Jobs Program is considerably one of the most successful and meaningful initiatives that students, small-businesses, and community organizations of Surrey Centre benefit from. Local organizations that confront some the most challenging social issues in the riding as well as small or start-up companies in need of bright new talent are matched with ambitious youth that are motivated to be a part of our working-class and excited to learn.”
In addition to the genuine conversations, MP Sarai’s office collected generous donations of non-perishable food items to donate to the Surrey Food Bank. MP Sarai added, “The perfect way to end the year and to celebrate the holiday season is at the holiday open house – It’s for us to celebrate one another and all that we do for the person next to us.”
