Man sentenced to 10 years in 2012 shooting death at house fight in Surrey

New Westminster: Jonathan Michael Kishimoto has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to manslaughter. 21-year-old Noel Jackson was killed two years ago in the basement suite of a home in the 12400-block 70th Avenue in Surrey. Investigations revealed that an argument broke between group of men who had gathered at the basement and it was during this that Noel was shot dead by Kishimoto. Another man, Michael Alexander Ross has been charged with accessory to murder.
