Halifax: Roommates of Loretta, Blake Leggette, 25, and Victoria Henneberry, 28 who were earlier charged with possession of a stolen vehicle have now been charged with first degree murder. Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit, with the assistance of RCMP in New Brunswick, located the body of Loretta Saunders on Wednesday afternoon on Route 2 of the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Salisbury, N.B. Loretta, 26 was missing for a week and half. She was a student at Saint Mary’s University and was completing thesis on missing, murdered aboriginal women before she herself disappeared.
