Liquor store robbed in Kelowna, police search for two suspects

Kelowna: Police are looking for two suspects after a liquor store was robbed Saturday night. On February 1, 2014 at 11 pm, the Kelowna RCMP responded to a robbery that had just occurred at Liquids Liquor Store located at 2395 Gordon Drive. Shortly before police were called, two men entered the store with their faces covered. One man placed several bottles of liquor in a bag while the other threatened the clerk with a bat-like weapon before both fled on foot towards Gordon Drive. A Police Service Dog established a track but the suspects were not located.

 

The suspect with the bat is described as:

Caucasian

5’11

Early 20’s

Wearing all black clothing and a black knapsack

The second suspect is described as:

• Caucasian

• 5’7 to 5’9 with a thin build

• Wearing a black hooded sweater, black ball cap with white brim, beige pants white runners and a red duffle bag
