Kidnapping suspect arrested on Canada wide warrant

Surrey RCMP is updating the public on the arrest of Nathan Barthelette on a Canada-wide warrant from an incident that occurred in early July.

On September 3, Nathan Barthelette was arrested by Canada Border Services Agency while attempting to re-enter Canada at the Pacific Highway Border Crossing. Barthelette was wanted on charges of Kidnapping, Unlawful Confinement, Aggravated Assault, Use of a firearm during the commission of an offence, Robbery, and other firearm offences.

The second suspect, Meaz Nour-Eldin, is still wanted Canada-wide and is now believed to be in the Montreal area.
