Islamabad: A key Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander has been arrested by Pakistani security forces during the ongoing operations against terrorists.

Highly placed sources told Dawn online that firebrand Taliban commander Adnan Rashid was arrested by the forces in South Waziristan four days ago in an injured condition after he tried to escape from the region’s cordoned-off area due to the military operation.

Rashid has been shifted to an undisclosed location by helicopter.
