Coquitlam RCMP is getting ready to serve up support for the BC Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) instead of the regular servings of justice.

On November 14th, between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., customers of Boston Pizza at 3025 Lougheed Highway in Coquitlam will see members of the Coquitlam RCMP, Port Moody Police, and Metro Vancouver Transit Police team up with Special Olympics athletes to serve customers, take donations, and raise awareness for the Special Olympics.

This is an opportunity for the public to meet our athletes and donate to a great cause, says Constable Amy Wilcott, a long time participant in the LETR and member of the Coquitlam RCMP. We do this because we believe in supporting our communities and raising awareness for the Special Olympics.

Special Olympics BC is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities through sport. The Law Enforcement Torch Run enables law enforcement members throughout the world to support Special Olympics BC. Coquitlam RCMP and the BC Law Enforcement Torch Run thank Boston Pizza for supporting the Cops, Pops, and Pizza campaign.
