arbutus-greenwayVancouver: The Arbutus Greenway is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reimagine a former railway corridor, and we want your help developing the vision.

“The City’s acquisition of the Arbutus Corridor is game-changing expansion of our seawall-greenway network, connecting False Creek to the Fraser River,” says Mayor Gregor Robertson. “I’m excited to see the future Arbutus Greenway be shaped by Vancouverites’ vision for a vibrant green transportation corridor that residents from all corners of the city can enjoy. I encourage everyone to get out and experience the temporary Greenway and bring their most creative ideas to the table.”

Location of the Arbutus Greenway

Spanning approximately nine kilometres, the greenway runs parallel to Arbutus Street and West Boulevard through four unique neighbourhoods:

Kitsilano

Arbutus Ridge

Kerrisdale

Marpole

Once completed, it will connect people, parks and communities from False Creek to the Fraser River, and be a citywide destination for generations to come.
