Akali-BJP termed it a flop-show
Amritsar: Former Punjab chief minister and Congress candidate from Amritsar parliamentary constituency Captain Amarinder Singh arrive Amarinder was received at the outer gate of the city and was taken on his road show in an open vehicle which was bedecked with party flags and flowers.
He was accompanied by the leader of the opposition in the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Sunil Jakhar and the local leaders. He paid homage to the martyrs at the Jallianwala Bagh and then went to the Golden Temple and Durgiana Mandir to pay obeisance.
Meanwhile Shiromani Akali Dal (B) blamed on Congress for hiring people to show its strength during the visit of Congress nominee Captain Amarinder Singh in his constituency. BJP state president Kamal Sharma has termed it as flop show
