ON Tuesday (January 21) at about 9 a.m., Surrey RCMP located a dead male inside a parked vehicle in the 18900 block of 92nd Avenue. Police concluded from the initial investigation that it was a homicide and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team took over the case.

Police said their priority at this point is to confirm the victim’s identity and notify his family.

“We are in the early stages and although the cause of death will have to be confirmed through autopsy we can say that this incident does not appear to be a random act,” said IHIT Cpl. Dominic Duchesneau.
