Alka Yagnik, seven-time winner of the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer, a two-time recipient of the National Film Award and Udit Narayan who has sung more than 15,000 songs in more than 30 different languages and was awarded Padma Shri award, one of India’s highest civilian honours in 2009 will be performing Live in Vancouver on April 20 at Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The concert is brought to Vancouver by News Waves Production. Surinder Sanghera of New Waves said, “I hope that the Bollywood enthusiasts will be delighted by the powerhouse performances of these two iconic singers.”
