Surrey: On February 15, an 81 year old male from Surrey was struck by a vehicle when he was attempting to cross the roadway eastbound. He was treated by emergency services but was pronounced deceased at the scene. Surrey RCMP has informed that the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that was traveling northbound on King George Blvd. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. Police are seeking additional witnesses to the crash including two taxi cabs who may have been at the scene at the time. Surrey RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigations Team (CCIT) is currently investigating.
