Edmonton: Armand Lacoursiere, 68,  who sexually abused seven children over more than 30 years was sentenced to 15-1/2-year jail. Court of Queen’s Bench Justice Sterling Sanderman said Lacoursiere was an “unappealing individual who committed truly wicked acts.” Lacoursiere earlier pleaded guilty to multiple counts of sexual assault, sexual interference, sexually touching a young person while in a position of authority, indecent assault, making child porn and possessing child porn.Lacoursiere was arrested in 2012 after a man lodged complain with RCMP  about sexual abuse he suffered at hands of Armand.
Court  has ordered him to submit a DNA sample for the national DNA databank,  he has been placed on the national sex offender database for life and banned for life from going to parks, playgrounds, swimming pools or any other place where there are young people present.
