Kabul: At least 16 people were killed and 20 others injured when two buses collided in Afghanistan.
“The passenger buses collided head-on along a main road in Shahr-i-Safa district along Kabul-Kandahar Highway, leaving 16 people dead,” district Governor Khaliq Ayuobi said.
The official blamed rash driving for the incident, saying carelessness of the drivers might have led to the accident.
