Abbotsford Police Patrol Officers responded to numerous 911 calls reporting a stabbing in the parking lot of 32700 block of South Fraser Way this morning at 7:22 am.
APD Patrol Officers, Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service and BC Ambulance Service arrived on scene and located a man suffering from a serious abdominal wound. The injured man was transported to hospital via ambulance. He was conscious and communicative with first responders.
Abbotsford Police officers located and arrested a 33-year-old man in connection to this assault at 7:42 am. The Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department will be continuing the investigation.
