Islamabad, April 27 (IANS) At least four terrorists were killed in a gun battle with the police in the Pakistani port city of Karachi, an official said on Monday.
Rao Anwar, a police officer in Malir locality of Karachi, was quoted by Geo News as saying that “the four terrorists were affiliated with a proscribed outfit”.
After receiving a tip-off, police closed in on the targeted spot laying a cordon around it. A subsequent exchange of fire resulted in the death of the terrorists, the official said.
