: Federal Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, Hon. Amarjeet Sohi visited head offices and Assisted Living facility of Progressive Intercultural Community Services Society (PICS) on Friday last week.

Minister Sohi was accompanied by MP Sukh Dhaliwal (Surrey-Newton) and MP Randeep Singh Sarai (Surrey Centre). The minister showed a keen interest in PICS programs and was especially supportive of PICS new project, PICS Diversity Village. Minister Sohi also visited PICS Assisted Living and spent time with seniors. He was impressed with the level of culturally sensitive care being provided for seniors at the home.

“We are very thankful to the minister for taking time out and visiting PICS.
This shows that PICS is generating interest at the highest level and we are happy that all levels of the government are extremely supportive of PICS and its programs and especially our latest project, PICS Diversity Village,” said Mr. Charan Gill, CEO PICS.

PICS Diversity Village is a unique culturally sensitive complex care home for seniors which will be built in the community of Cloverdale.
